The answer is no. A respected nature writer I used to follow on Twitter and had bought some of his books closed his blog and started a substack. When I complained, he said he knew there were issues but he needed to build his audience

I told him he’d lost one of his audience but I’ll still follow his RSS feed so if he changes his mind , he knows what to do

@cycling_on_rails @jon @notjustbikes are the European Cycle Federation representatives for entrenched interests or just clueless? If you were to go solely on the toot I am replying to you'd suspect the latter. (cf. The British Beer and Pub Association who are a mouthpiece for large breweries and pub chains and do little to help individual/small operators.)
