I’ve seen a lot of articles and posts about AI that use the term “like it or not” as in “like it or not, AI is here, and we might as well get used to it” and that is such bullshit.

We can build a better world.
White people discount exactly how much immigrants, people of color, queer people, and other marginalized groups contribute to popular culture. Without these groups we are missing the perspectives that help create the thriving ecosystem that pumps out intellectual works, art, cuisine, fashion, etc. It mirrors their failure to appreciate multiculturalism.
