Just returned after lurking briefly in 2020, and was surprised by the community and the quality of content that naturally reminds me of the Old Webβ’.
I also like how the Collections and Portfolio features are increasing content lifespan, contrary to corporates that only keep cranking up the treadmill speed.
Together with the new uncluttered interface, all this forces me to come back: https://pixelfed.social/simonweiss

Just struck a goldmine for those with a fast #terminal, slick fonts, and a need for eloquence.
#TUI apps shine especially bright today, when any GUI puppy can chew through 500 MB of RAM, not to mention plentiful UI/UX issues.

@Gargron Great shot!
BW photos look the best with big margins and without a passepartout IMO
@Chloeg this is hilarious! I hoped that they'll go atonal all together in the end, but it's good either way.
@Chloeg hey! I'm a full-fledged wannabe artist, would enjoy some interaction π
FP programmers tend to be curried away
@Jose_A_Alonso I love Haskell and jazz, but I still hate pure math, because of the way math has been shoved in school and university without a slightest effort to show its true beauty and value. Knowing them now I still feel strong math anxiety when looking at formulas π Didn't know people can hate jazz and FP as much π
Great article, resonates with Edward Frenkel's "Love and Math".
