@noisetank Thank you very much. I was pleased with how the guitar sounded too. I made samples of three notes (C in different octaves and on different strings for a bit more realism). The bends (which I did as slides on the original track when playing it myself - I tend to slide up or down rather than bending) are done in the tracker. Octamed has commands for handling a slide up and slide down, although it's a bit tricky to get it sounding right. One of them still doesn't sound quite right

@edbrindley yes that one has been remarkably popular. There's a lot of nostalgia for DOS gaming out there! I wasn't aware of Abstract 64, glad you mentioned it. (I was aware of the Amiga EON demo, it's stunning!)

@RobeeShepherd you were riding so fast that you had a warp field around you with its own microclimate. This is not scientifically-based, just a guess. (I seem to remember that ice-skates work because the contact with the ice compresses it enough to turn it to liquid which reduces friction. I might have dreamed that. Maybe bicycle wheels on mud work in the same way too. Again, not scientifically proven.)

@randulo that's all good news, and I really love seeing / hearing the music that people make with things I've made.
You paid VAT at checkout, you should see that on your invoice. The parcel travelled with an IOSS number so that anyone who cared to scan the barcode along the way could see that the tax was paid. This item falls below the amount that requires import duty, so you wouldn't have been troubled for that.

@futurewas8bit It's not quite Halloween in real life but I did reach Halloween in the game (the final level). I haven't beaten that yet but there are a couple of days left. I enjoyed watching you play and it made me feel better about all of my random and untimely deaths.

@randulo yes, the usual dreaded VAT, that 20% is the same for us too with a few exemptions. I don't believe there's anything to pay by way of import duty though, be glad you're not in America.
