I understand why fellow octogenarians refuse to answer unlisted numbers because I got caught up in one purporting to be Telstra. Except the phone call was not a phone call because its whereabouts did not show in my open apps. But I was recieving SMS numbers to recite to them. I hung up. . I reported the scam SMSs . Repeated calls came from the same number immediately

In more wholesome news, Bev the tail walker whose job is was to see all Parkrun participants safely back to the finish line was badly shaken up when she fell on the track this morning. She suffered cuts to her knee and hand and is now recovering.
