Q'PLAAAAA just finished uploading an overhaul of my site/blog which uses my new script "NotSSG" to separate layout HTML from individual page content.

The local copy of my site now works off the file system (no web server needed/truly portable)!

Now to start prepping NotSSG for public release!

Omg I missed Barret's best weapon in FF7 Remake... just like I did the first time I played OG a very long time ago. At least this time I can fix it with Chapter Select later lol.

You know how the first playthrough of a game is usually the best one? Everything is new, you're exploring, learning the game, etc. What I love about FF7 Remake is that it's actually captured *that magic*! I *feel* like I'm in a sense playing FF7 for the first time again. Love it.

O.M.G. it's only 12 days until FF7R on Switch 2, finally, finally get to play it. Had a moment where I'm like, "this is really happening" after waiting for a freaking decade to play it.

3/3 (Conclusion?) This is perhaps a simplified explanation, but I hope it makes sense. I'm aware this stuff can be done via pre-generating, JS tricks or server side code. But what if it didn't have to be? Thoughts appreciated. :)

2/3 (Wish 2) Templating for building multi-page sites with a common layout. template.html contains main layout and [page_content] tag. Indy pages just contain their unique content. Browser visits indy page e.g. about.html, template.html is loaded, swaps tag for about.html contents to produce final page.

1/3 - Two #HTML wishes (Three part post) :

(Wish 1) Cache busting. cachebust.txt on server, contains simple number. If browser finds, automatically requests sheets, scripts etc using this number e.g. stylesheet.css?v=n without you having to type it in the HTML.
