I will say though, the interstellar intercept/rescue in S3 was probably the single coolest space moment of the whole damn show so far, imo.

Ooh nice, I still need to finish the show. I started silo but ended up reading the books instead of starting season 2 so that’s put a hold on my TV watching lol
Looking forward to this, and to FAM season 5. They wisely let the Danny Stevens plot go in S4 and even if it’s still not quite as sharp the more speculative they have to get, 4 was much better than 3.
Supposedly the show has had a 7 season storyline planned from the start
I have no idea actually, haven’t heard anything about renewal (or not) post season 5

Cant help feel this will be like the later seasons of Witcher were they wanted a big name to give them a built in audience to their own stories rather than actually adapting what is there. This rarely works as fans of the books want the book adapted not something new and different badged as coming from the book.
Second problem is that Neuromancer was very much of its time, much of its concepts have become standard tropes now across the genre and even in everyday life. This greatly limits its impact to audiences new to Neuromancer as they have seen it all before.
I will give it a go but I am not holding out much hope.
It’s kinda funny to hear someone say that, because Neuromancer’s concepts were so revolutionary that you needed to reread the whole thing at least twice to get it.
What happened is that technological advancement brought us to a point where we find the concepts in Neuromancer almost trivial to understand nowadays.
Oh, Cyberspace? You mean, like, the internet? Oh but it’s in VR. Cool.

The Bullseye galaxy is 250,000 light-years across, nearly two-and-a-half times larger than our 100,000 light-year-wide Milky Way. The galaxy is 567 million light-years from Earth in the constellation
lets hope it goes more the way of silo then the way of foundation. Fortunately there are no big ideas to dumb down like what was in the trainwreck that was the peripheral adaptation
Mark Strong Joins Apple's 'Neuromancer' TV Series
Most sci-fi authors who can’t write women don’t make them the symbolism laden protagonist of their trilogy’s conclusion.
Not sure if I should give him points for effort there or not.
Despite my complaints, I do think it worth a read.
I dunno. Most sci-fi I read from western authors is horrible with their characters. Maybe because I’m mostly reading older sci-fi? Either ways, I didn’t hold that against him or the story.
Most western sci-fi authors are shit at writing women. So I didn’t hold it against him. But sure, I can see how some people didn’t take to it.
To me, it was a beautiful series with loads of interesting and horrible twists and turns. The ending is sublime, to me.
I see it on mine. Probably my browser cache talking. Everything is always beta.
I don’t see the picture any more, but the link works. I dunno, chief!
