I guess yeah maybe collect a small group of people and create it, you can always give up moderation to someone else that is good
Genuinely I think creating the community, using it and trying to actually get it growing is a huge thing and could bring others to the table and realize there are people like yourself out there.
I wish the music production communities were more active. I know where are other musicians here who record and release and might like the chance to share and/or promote.
Reddit has several music production communities that, last I checked, were active, vibrant, positive, and actually served as places to get listens and followers. I’ve been tempted to make another Reddit account for the sole purpose of partaking in those subs, especially now that I’m getting my own projects started up again.
So maybe I’ll just put the question out here: Are there active musicians and songwriters here who wound be interested in making a community?
There was a mirror at one point, the main reason most people didn't enjoy it is due to the replies and feedback kinda being non-existent as the users can't see your comment and it just get's put on this random bot instance.
@amoroso@oldbytes.space Not just migrating from Mastodon, Just migrating across the fediverse. I've recently moved to Sharkey from my Mastodon account using the same domain and it sucked knowing I couldn't take my posts across.
So would it not be better to have communities in Lemmy for that or hashtags for Mastodon and the rest of the Fediverse for finding work / networking?
Bringing Local Teams and groups into the Fediverse, This is something that I'd love to actually see even as a person that isn't much into Sports.
What would the use of a LinkedIn Alternative be? Isn't it just a circle jerk for business'
That does sound really good, I know someone that does Leather work and I would get that into that so fast.

Not everyone has the ability to change there instance to accept more characters
From what I can gather the Government is waiting for the community / public to move across, the public has to wait for the sources of Information so news, reporters and creators and those are waiting for both there community and the government / people they have to interact with to keep going.
It's kinda a big circle that everyone is waiting for the next person to move across.
It is certainly possible as there is E2EE through some Email Providers and Email is a Decentralized system as well.
That would be amazing to see, I can't wait to see things like that come about and hopefully integrate into each other properly through open protocols
@stefan@stefanbohacek.online That is an interesting one, what is the use cases of this when it comes to the Fediverse as the Fediverse is meant to be a place to talk.
I believe this is something being worked on through Mastodon as well as a few other people are working on it but yes it would be amazing to see some E2EE for the Fediverse
What is one thing you wish was on the Fediverse?

@webmink@meshed.cloud Posts like this is the reason we need 'Parked Like a TW@' thing like we do on Facebook
Would this be a good time to show and push for them to Join us over on the Fediverse? It would make sense for local councils to join the Fediverse especially if they need a safe space to post up updates.
It would also push for new users to also join us on here.
