@georgetakei what he means is, "don't practice free speech because it makes me feel bad"
If releasing the Epstein Files would ruin so many people in power, perhaps we've put the wrong people in power. Maybe this power structure needs to torn down so it can be rebuilt. #burnitdown
@opensourceopenmind @itsfoss @danish_akhtar7 oh well. I didn't even check tbh.
@_XCM @jerry @chillicampari @Viss I actually did instruct Claude to do this and its answers changed dramatically.
@danish_akhtar7 @opensourceopenmind @itsfoss Oh. They are both built on the Mozilla engine and are privacy focused. I'm just now trying Zen and I very much like it.
@wolfkin @Kdude @itsfoss @AAKL I've been thinking more about this. The argument that "I don't have anything to hide" fails when you now have something to hide but your privacy has already been compromised. Now it's too late.
Furthermore, the persons or people invading your privacy (government, bad actors, etc.) will exploit the data. And if it's the government, we've now seen how quickly your data can be turned against you.
@opensourceopenmind @itsfoss @AAKL @Kdude True. And you can only educate people that want to learn.
@opensourceopenmind @itsfoss @danish_akhtar7 Zen Browser? Librewolf?
@AAKL @itsfoss @Kdude @wolfkin I get so frustrated with people when talking about privacy. The argument, "I don't care. I don't have anything to hide." completely misses the point. You actually have everything to hide! Privacy is a human right. It wasn't so much an issue when the only way to invade someone's privacy was to actually go to their location and actively, physically invade. But it *is* an issue now, and it's only getting worse.

@itsfoss nm. Answered my own question. Since it's built on Mozilla Firefox, you can just install Firefox plugins.
@itsfoss I see a lot of reference to Zen Browser. It looks great, I like the organization features, and it's FOSS. But what about plugins? There are a few plugins that I use that aren't directly related to making the browser behave that I use constantly. Proton Pass is a good example. It looks as if the plugin space is lacking so far, but the benefits may actually outweigh this shortcoming.
@danish_akhtar7 @itsfoss I used Brave for a while until they started advertising at me. IMHO, Ironwolf is the browser Brave should be.
@itsfoss I use Librewolf on PC and IronFox on Android. EDIT: I almost forgot eww for reading articles and such where javascript isn't required.
@Grumpygrannyquilts @forpeterssake I feel personally attacked.
