@rjamestaylor would definitely advice getting back no later than Sunday evening— can’t rule out the chance for some snow showers to seep into the Tahoe area and Sierra Nevada by the end of the weekend. Could get dicey if the weather pattern keeps trending in that direction.

I use inRoute app to plan my road travels — gives a time/date relevant conditions forecast for alternate routes. Usually gives good heads up on winds, temps, and precipitation.

I’m driving to Tahoe like everyone else & inRoute shows decent travel Th & Sat from BA & back.
