Ever wondered why Matrix doesn't use MLS? @deepbluev7 will explore how MLS and Matrix work internally, and shed some light on it.

Join us for the Matrix Conference in Strasbourg, Oct 15-19!

Should we migrate our #matrix homeserver on polycule.im to #FreeBSD ?

@rumo F-Droid always takes a couple of days to provide new releases. You can either wait for the F-Droid build cycle or manually download the APK from the CI job if you are impatient. I'd always recommend to wait for the few days tho.

Dear Fediverse community,

We're looking for support in migrating our #GitLab organization to #Codeberg.

We need some input on how to migrate GitLab CI to #ForgejoActions, especially considering our rather complex CI setup with macOS Runners and Android emulators in #QEMU.

Are there community members willing to help us out and give us recommendations on what to consider in the migration ?

Thanks !

@erebion @braid @matrix It's true we should better listen to the user agent's accessibility preferences about reduced motion. In the current 10 minutes website draft this was not done yet.

@reflex I think @jane used to work on a clean #Flatpak #Flutter SDK in gitlab.com/polycule_client/pol. You'd need to ask her whether she intents to resume her work any time soon.

@dariomehr @braid @matrix Because hybrid web apps are worse in performance. And electron ... is once again google. < polycule >'s author @braid is in opposite putting efforts in de-googling Flutter.
