De hack bij Odido is weer zo’n wake-up call die we eigenlijk al te vaak krijgen. Er zijn allerlei persoonlijke gegevens buitgemaakt. Wat het extra wrang maakt: ook mensen die al járen geen klant meer zijn, kregen bericht dat hún gegevens zijn gelekt.

Dat wringt. Want Odido geeft zelf aan dat persoonsgegevens maar beperkt worden bewaard. Dat roept dat serieuze vragen op over databeleid, bewaartermijnen en governance.
