Fixed the timestamps of my blog...figured that the date-title-extraction got turned into a plugin and all my blogposts/etc. use that by now
Aaand noticing a grand issue that arose with updating things apparently :<
All dates for things in the deployed version are the deploy date? urgh.
This works locally, so I wonder what Netlify is messing up here @_@
While I initially had some trouble with my stream and external loading assets, I got some progress done today!
* Upgraded to Lume 3 (finally)
* Adjusted things for Tailwind 4
* Removed old things
* Replaced Poly with Prisma on the right
etc.

Hey, you, reader:
Ever been browsing someone's blog, website, repo -- even their social web profile -- and thought to yourself "Wow, that's really neat. I love what they did here!"
Consider telling them! Someone on here made a post a while back encouraging people to do just that, and I've tried to make a conscious habit of contacting the authors of neat little indie and smolweb sites.
Email, guestbook, comment; whatever it might be, consider reaching out somehow to share your appreciation. You might be surprised at how much it makes their day.
You might also be surprised to discover how much making their day makes yours, too.
@datarama I would have talked to you earlier then, but a huge part is also:
Do it for yourself mainly, do not give a care what "the wide world" thinks.
Someday, a spark of interest for one of your hobbies might come back, be sure to grab onto it and use it as it does!
@datarama that's sad to hear!
I can relate to the programming part, especially since the business is so heavy on selling AI and "staying on track".
I however recently started a project, no AI involved and just learning something purely new and that sparked my joy in programming again as well.
i'll say one nice thing about ai slop: the ai generated preview images continue to be a reliable indicator that there are other major issues with the article or video they represent. if the author couldn't be bothered to try to land a solid first impression, why, you can bet they didn't care enough to try and make anything else worth your time

The talk I gave Ramses boils down to the following:
While AI might be competition to your businesses, don't lose the joy of making.
Because with AI-made things, there is no joy in making and no joy in consuming them either.
AI might be able to replicate waveforms and pixels, but it is bleak and boring fast food in a consumerist world.
People who truly appreciate art will figure out the meaning of what you create and the feelings you put into them, all of that doesn't exist with AI creations.
@revengeday sooooo cute! :pixel_love: thank you so much!
