Sigvald the Terrible.
Another lovely model from Die Hard Miniatures. More detail as usual on the blog (https://www.nerodine.com/2026/03/sigvald-terrible.html). Enjoy this handsome little fellow!

Abandoned Listening Post; an adventure in scratch building tiny terrain.
There's a bunch more detail on my blog post, including my son's work from a Saturday well spent nerding out together.

@TenebrisNox Can't ask for higher praise than that. Very kind of you to say so, thank you!
Shtomm Tal, Barbarian Warlord from @heresyminiatures .
Good fun this one. As usual, I've added a few more details on how I painted it to the latest blog post (https://www.nerodine.com/).
@dmcgk Ah, yeah. I wasn't quite sure what they were supposed to be, so treated them like shiny metal clips.
@JetSetIlly Painting the reflection in front of it was the hardest part.
Valerio Valeri, Astray Red Gundam pilot.
Quick paint of my son's model while he was building the big robot.
The sculpt is okay but lacking in head detail, so don't look too closely but I think it works okay.
@dereisenhofer I'd like to try small scenes in The Old World units at some point. If I had any sculpting or modelling talent, something like Victoria Lamb's orc unit.
Doc Salvage from the Cyberpunk Red game.
Painting for a friend's RPG campaign.
Not an enjoyable model to paint for a number of reasons, but I love my mate so it's done and onto the next project!
@dereisenhofer Thanks! I think it was mostly from a Tabletop World terrain kit, but I preferred them in an army scene, not just on the gaming table.
Dwarf militia unit for Kings of War. I wanted it to feel ragtag, as though they're throwing armour on to protect their village. It's a mix of various companies' models and I had a blast doing them.
Three cannons for my Kings of War Dwarf army. The highlight being Ol' Mossy in the centre.
The front panels of the housing were boring and devoid of detail, so I had fun adding some texture to those and the wheels.
Paint is in progress. Sword still needs work, but reasonably happy with the cute metal hat now.

@LeVermenarque Welcome back!
@MythicalMothman Thanks! It's an area I want to improve on this year, so nice to find opportunities to try it.
I forgot to add a side view. Whoops!
Wouldn't usually bother, but I quite liked the glow effect.
Kovach The Devoured from
Diehard Miniatures.
I like the original paintjob (https://diehardminiatures.com/product/kovach-the-devoured-chaos-champion/) but wanted to do something different. Turned out better than I hoped!
@mcjwarhammer @erikcats Very rare. But the pieces are so small, it's more efficient to paint 95% on sprue, then fix the last 5% before sticking on the shield.
Updated the sword again to make the scratches less uniform in length, and push up a couple of highlights.
Quite happy with that, so now it's just the rest of him to do now. Easy!
