Another step in learning to program microcontrollers. The first project is on hold for now while I wait for the ordered capacitors to arrive, so I decided to do something else in the meantime and coded a mini Space Invaders clone on ESP32 from scratch. 😉

I played with the ESP32 today and connected it to a potentiometer and a display. It even shows something. I still have problems with the sensor, but it will be a few more hours of fun 😉.

@stooovie I only use Octoprint for remote printing, so I don't have to keep swapping the SD card. I suppose Klipper is a bit overkill for my needs.

@DJGummikuh I had a slightly different problem with the printer display. It was on all the time even though the printer was off. It must have been getting power from the Raspberry Pi somehow, so I disconnected it completely 😅

@stooovie I've just been reading about Klipper, but I'm not sure if it's right for me. What are the main features that make it worth installing?

I hooked up a Raspberry Pi with OctoPrint to my 3D printer today and WOW, I didn't expect how much it would improve the workflow! Now I have full control over the process and control everything remotely. A completely new level! 🚀

Wywaliłem szybę z mojej już wiekowej drukarki 3D i wstawiłem magnetyczną płytę PEI. Gdybym tylko wcześniej wiedział jak to ułatwia życie. Kalibracja, druk, zdejmowanie wydruku. Zaoszczędzę lata życia 😉
Chyba odłożę kupno nowej na następny rok.

Jakiś czas temu szukałem sobie ezinów dodawanych na płcie w CD-Action, teraz przypomniałem sobie o Savage. Ten zin był jako aplikacja pod Windowsa. Zacząłem googlać i znalazłem https://diskmags.de. Zbiór magów z całego świata, w tym 90 z samej Polski na Win, MS-DOS, Atari, C64, Amigę. Będzie dzisiaj czytane. Nostalgia mocno!
