@technicat That can either be a good or a sad feeling (or both)
I chat about #Kdrama here.
A Dutch view on things that I watch and enjoy.
No IRL link with Korea at all.

@EllenInEdmonton @bougiewonderland @hanktank61 You see? Totally normal 🤣
@bougiewonderland @EllenInEdmonton @hanktank61 No idea about this specific situation, but in European history it was not uncommon to give succesive children the same name, bc chances were slim they would survive the first (few) years and in certain families it was important to have the same first name in every generation. Could have been that nr 1 was ill when nr 2 arrived, bit then nr 1 recovered again? Just thinking out loud here
I'm having so much fun reading all suggestions under the hashtag #adramalunies2026 ! Don't forget to also vote for your fav #kdrama of 2025: takes only 15 seconds and I can say after peeping at the results until now: it is a tight race!! https://6nwujj22sqm.typeform.com/to/a2F4fIXD
@hanktank61 @EllenInEdmonton @bougiewonderland aha, yes, now I see!
@AnnaAnthro @EllenInEdmonton Oj, the platinum collection
@EllenInEdmonton @bougiewonderland @hanktank61 as in the clearly not even trying to be historically accurate historical, I love it when set in the 20th century
@EllenInEdmonton @bougiewonderland @hanktank61 She was not in Goblin! And Moon Lovers was rather old fashioned if you ask me, did not finish. But I'm not such a fan of historical #kdrama
@AnnaAnthro @EllenInEdmonton How to top that! Wow
@hanktank61 Yes, always a pleasure!
#adramalunies2026 Piggy back ride....There can be only one: Yang Hwa, are you asleep? #Mrsunshine #kdrama
#adramalunies2026 Most memorable parent character? Uhhh, the mother-in-law in #Familiarwife was lovely and it was heart breaking to see how devoted she was to her son-in-law
@EllenInEdmonton @jcurries @bougiewonderland You come for the hair styles, you stay for the coach!

#ADramaLunies2026 Most ridiculous medical treatment? That one goes to #dynamitekiss Out of all the hilarious tropes they swiftly guided us through, the medical issue in one of the last episodes was tooooo much, OMG I laughed so loud!
@jcurries Oh, yes, secret garden! Don't forget the hair haha
@JillsJoy Oh, high on my watch list, that one!
@JillsJoy @dnkboston
Oh, look at that skirt!
@JillsJoy @dnkboston I could not have said it better! The non-conformity, creating your own style and just living your life, and the old- fashioned look did not only remind me of Sherlock Holmes, but also of some queer women from back in the days, like Annemarie Schwarzenbach https://www.liliums-compendium.co.uk/post/annemarie-schwarzenbach-muses-the-beau-monde
