Also - oddly specific, but does anyone know of any instances oriented towards baking/cooking? It's a big part of my life!
Luke, 25 (he/him). My new thing is working on a game. We’ll see how long that lasts!

As a gift for my younger sibling's birthday, I'm putting together a small fabric goods repair kit (I often patch and fix stuff for them, and they've expressed an interest in learning for themselves). Off the top of my head, I've picked out these items:
- A speedweve-type darning loom, plus darning needle and some floss
- Sewing needles and thread
- Thread scissors
- Threading tools
- Some small pieces from my patch pile
Does anyone else have any items they recommend?
buys a videonow color fx and rips the Wrathgate cinematic from World of Warcraft circa 2008 to a CD to play in it to cope
Disney "Renaissance" movies want what Naruto Numb AMVs have tbh
I've added a new strategy to my color-mapping tool!
In some cases, the old strategy performs better, but in others it performs quite badly. (In this case, it's a huge improvement! Old left, new right.)

Apparently some lost media fans found the Saban Sailor Moon pilot!
@human_dude haha, thanks! I don't change avatars anymore for that reason, but I'm trying to pick things that I relate to more than random photos that were on my phone when I made my accounts...
New avatar!
Avatar description: Brightly colored pixel art of a white man with a white shirt and burgandy tie in front of a mostly-blue background, scaled too small since it was originally much larger, so that it really doesn't look like pixel art.
I'm good at programming and good at CAD :)
Which is weirder: eating orange marmalade packets with your fingers while waiting for your food at a restaurant (you are mid-20s) or delighting in the memory of a time a ten year old you had beef with started crying when you were employed to watch him at a summer camp because his science project failed (you were 30+ at the time and 40+ now.)
Trying to settle a debate with a friend.

The most frustrating part of my mood disorder & psychosis symptoms is that random things I really like will just *become* triggers, apropos of nothing!
And then it's like, well, I really want to know what happens next in this show, but also I keep remembering plot points like they literally happened to me, so I probably shouldn't...
Anyone have a good alternative to Goodreads?
