@dmoren @sisaac do they still provide a free ebook with receipt of the physical copy? Do you know if you're going to be doing signed copies again?

@_IanOfEarth what do you even do with your life now

@film_girl for me it's nearly always a tool I already know and have to ask “what was that option again?”

What do you think the LLM output was?

Contrary to common belief, you do not have to generate AI slop to illustrate every blog post.

You are not improving anything, you are making it actively worse.

@stroughtonsmith I want this

@g if you find a good one for matrix that's not $$$ post it here. Hosting synapse in a VPS is the cheapest I've seen so far

BMW’s latest “innovation” isn’t about performance or safety. It’s a logo-shaped screw designed to keep owners out of their own cars. We dug into the patent, the intent behind it, and why Adafruit is already working on a custom bit to undo BMW’s attempt to block repair. Learn more at the link below.

@dmoren oh thank god it's not just me. I feel like this was working and broke in a recent update.

Anyone who thinks the suburbs are quiet has never had neighbors who all have yard service on different days of the week.

I built a new keyboard for the first time in over a year. My hands only hurt a little bit! :catjam:
Mode Encore Series 1
Carbon Fiber Plate, TX AP stabs, T1 switches
EPBT Origami Keycaps
#MechanicalKeyboard

65% keyboard with a light oak wood on the top 2/3rd of the case and white on the bottom. Topped with a beige keycap set with black esc and arrows. It is sitting on a light orange deskmat with Types of Orange Boi in pink text on the top. Various orange cats in different positions and more pink text naming the type of boy they are. Also on the desk along the edges of the frame are happy plant Lego, a fossil and a few rocks, little cat figurines from Kiki's delivery service, a dark blue fountain pen on a cat stand and a gold round tray with a silver ball.Same keyboard from a low angle on the left side so you can see the copper bottom case and the split wood/white of the top case.

Incredibly annoying Apple Music/iCloud bug:

My 5 year old is in my iCloud Family with a managed account. Any time they ask a Homepod to play any album, it plays every track 4 times.

Coo coo

We see two house sparrows drinking out of a puddle. The male says to the female: "Good puddle!" to which she replies "I love you but you have low standards". Pigeons arrive in the background, the female says "Ope! Here comes the herd" There is a long horizontal frame of the two sparrows in the midst of a bunch of pigeons cooing around them. The male then says "gentle giants" the female agrees "mhm" and then says "coo" and the male responds "haha. coo!"
