I used to have issues getting up in the morning. Then I made the mistake of feeding my #cat at 6 AM one day.
Now I'm a morning person whether I like it or not.

Anyone tried #Strawbale #gardening? I've seen a lot of conflicting advice on it (which I suspect may be due to the differing treatments applied to the straw before it was baled...but I'd imagine it would be really difficult to grow plants in a bale made of straw that had been treated with a persistent herbicide).
Just looking to gather a bit more anecdotal data, really. Any input is appreciated!
@eldiablopotato no no, man...i thought everyone used #gitlab for everything? :P
@arichtman lol I juuuuuuuuust put some stuff there, thank you.
Jeez why you gotta call me out like that?! lol
Went to cook a meal in our #Suvie Oven, but had to wait ~5 minutes while it updated firmware then downloaded the latest recipe patch.
That really concerns me that a recipe patch is a thing when it comes to a smart oven.
I suppose it's no different than food being burned manually, to be fair (except you would hope a patch is a "set and forget" kind of thing).
I've read a lot of #philosophy over the years, but I've never actually read "Two Treatises of Government". My knowledge of it has strictly been US History (sigh) as well as commentary from other philosophers.
Today I decided to read it for myself.
And I have to admit: I've read some brutal logic take downs before, but Locke straight up got away with murder in the early chapters.
It occurred to me today that I've spent more time with my kids discussing #molarity than #morality.
But don't worry, they get plenty of #ethics instruction and both seem to have a reasonably strong ability to sympathize/empathize with others, so in addition to understanding chemistry they aren't dickheads to other people.
Win-win.

The YubiKey 5, the most widely used hardware token for two-factor authentication based on the FIDO standard, contains a cryptographic flaw that makes the finger-size device vulnerable to cloning when an attacker gains brief physical access to it, researchers said Tuesday.
The cryptographic flaw, known as a side channel, resides in a small microcontroller that’s used in a vast number of other authentication devices, including smartcards used in banking, electronic passports, and the accessing of secure areas. While the researchers have confirmed all YubiKey 5 series models can be cloned, they haven’t tested other devices using the microcontroller, which is SLE78 made by Infineon and successor microcontrollers known as the Infineon Optiga Trust M and the Infineon Optiga TPM. The researchers suspect that any device using any of these three microcontrollers and the Infineon cryptographic library contains the same vulnerability.

The song, "We're Not Gonna Take It" came out more than 40 years ago but I feel like we have, in fact, continued to take it.
My son created his first repo on #Github (school project), so I thought I'd show him a few features about Github and public codebases by creating an issue in his repo. I said hello, mentioned I just wanted to show him a few tricks with issues (and *not* a pull request because it's a school project!), and mentioned a typo I noticed in his code.
The kid attached the "good first issue" label to it lmao.
I tells ya, I get no respect.
