My friend @Lazarou

Made a very profound point upon noticing whom the Labour Party seems to be most attacking: the Green Party, that is

He said, "The Labour Party are more concerned about another left wing party, then they are about a racist party."

Once you see this, you can never unsee this.

Gosh!

@ologies.bsky.social yes, outside the USA we all know he's lying.

That's how they showed their resolve to stand against the government.” www.alieward.com/ologies/revo...

@ewen i feel ya. News has been turned off now for a couple months and is likely to stay that way for a long while. Im also unsubscribing from everything that contributes to the dark side.

We are about to get a "post-American internet," because we are entering a post-American *era* and a post-American *world*. Some of that is Trump's doing, and some of that is down to his predecessors.

Uncle Sam staring into a funhouse mirror that has made him painfully thin. The reflection is wearing a Trump wig and has orange skin. He stands atop a map of the world that stretches to infinity. In the background is a shantytown with the TRUMP logomark rising in the sky over it.

@eliocamp i use the bom weekly then daily to plan my work (outdoors). I used to be very successful using it in avoiding and working around the worst weather. ( >6mm rain and id be washed out).

About a year ago they adjusted their prediction reporting, and it became useless to me. I’ve now worked right through days that predicted 10-20mm rain without seeing a drop.

There was no outcry at all.

All the keyboard warriors are just complaining about a layout change but dont seem to need the data to be accurate or anything.

@dallo this is no surprise. The coalition has ignored their concerns and focused solely on the dying out boomers. They have no grassroots support from a generation who are likely to need a social welfare system and renter protections.

I would think they’re likely to move Green as much as left.

@jimfrost damn. I thought they were after mine exclusively. Lol.

Flinders Ranges, SA, looking from Razorback lookout.

A dusty winding road heads off towards mountain ranges, at sunset, throwing deep shadows into the valleys, and highlights on the mountains and road.

@ewen if you look at who the video was talking to, it wasn’t us photographers but the graphic designers who are already targeted by canva. The sweetener at the end for existing licensees - FONTS!
So basically the affinity purchase by canva is developing their existing offerings for design and we get to ride along with it.

Want the advanced ai selection tools, then subscribe.

At least thats my take.

@geoff_eg This is interesting to me. I've just repurposed an old laptop to Linux Mint, and really Affinity 2.0 is the big sticking point to moving across properly for a test. I'd be keen to know of any guides or rough steps to setting up Mint/Winboat/Affinity if you think its secure and worthwhile. I'm a total linux newbie...

@twizzt affinity 2 user, which also doesn’t catalogue. Have just adopted digikam, which is performing well with cataloguing. Only complaint is with photos on the NAS refreshing the index is a bit slow.
