Have you seen the new chat platform? It's on Stoat. It's literally on Fluxer. It's on Discord with ads. It's literally on Root. You can probably find it on Spacebar. Dude it's on Squirrel Chat. It's a Rocket chat original. It's on TeamSpeak 3. You can collaborate on Chanty. You can go to Twist and work on it. Log onto Wire right now. Go to Viber. Dive into Zangi. You can Zulip it. It's on Pumble. Osmium has it for you. DCTS has your back. You can go around the corner at Sharkord and get set up. Mumble might be it. You can use Jitsi. You can get it with Chatmail. It’s a discourse exclusive. Nanochat it right this second

In all seriousness, try out
Fluxer. It’s FOSS and they promise federation in the future

@Hansonthebike Is that melting, and you're north of me? I hope it's coming my way (Mass.)!

@tomatensson I always sang "Wouldya mistrust" even though it doesn't make much sense 😆

@tomatensson "Mucho mistrust "

(I waited 45 years to look that lyric up)

I've experienced this.

The Mandela Effect
is an unusual phenomenon
where you stand up too
fast and think that you
saw Nelson Mandela
in your peripheral vision.

I also wish the NY Times Pitchbot posted here.

I am probably blessed to say I have had a single-digit count of "worst days of my life", but sadly, the Columbia and Challenger disasters count among them.

With objective, critical hindsight, Nixon's low-orbit program direction was a regressive move by NASA and doomed us, probably for my lifetime, to never venture further. For instance, we just cancelled the Mars Sample Return project.

Taken mid- last night before the first swipe with the blower. Lots of work to do today.

The shows deep drifting snow in front of a small building. The building is illuminated by lighting obscured by snow-covered landscape shrubs.

I was taking a shot at 15x zoom of this bird in a tree and took flight. I just clicked randomly as I was too zoomed to see it on the phone screen. I like it. Shame about the blur.

A picture of a bird in flight against the trunks of trees with blue sky in the background.

After the ice storm, everything is glazed. Hunter's tracks lead off to the deeper woods.

Snow-covered farm track curving through a dormant orchard just after an ice storm. Bare trees and brush are lightly glazed with ice, with a dense stand of darker trees to the right. Low winter clouds stretch across the sky, with a thin band of pale blue near the horizon.

Winter light over a quiet orchard.
Snow, branches, and the day letting go.

Low winter sun setting behind tall evergreen and leafless orchard trees. Snow-covered stone wall and tangled dormant branches in the foreground under a pale, clouded sky.

@jwildeboer I hear the same from my nephews and nieces. I am just not sure how widespread it is. I know none of them have made the switch.

From my bike ride. I love it, but I can only see Clark W Griswold’s electricity meter spinning very fast.

I got such a wonderful book for Christmas on the Central Mass that is so hard to find. On back is the timetable. Oh, what we could have had. Now we crawl into Boston everyday in our metal boxes in savage servitude.

In Fallout S02E01 when Kyle McLachlan pours himself a coffee and takes a sip, a look of satisfaction and appreciation crosses his face. I wonder if it was an Easter egg reference back to Twin Peaks?
