@bgarfoot off the page. It's all a bit confusing
The flip ejection device didn't really catch on. Nice idea though.
@bloor if this gets out, we're all done for. There'll be men and boys in tears throwing out important things
(I cleared out some of my dad's stuff and found a packet of 6BA bolts that cost a shilling - he still hasn't forgotten)
@bloor untidy it, immediately. You're in need of help
Set aside this afternoon to do a bit of radio. Ended up talking a GM neighbour through installing QtSoundModem on a RPi for a bit of #packetradio
Happy with that
@jamesb I could do with something reliable. If thats all that's available. I'm out.
@jamesb done it to me a couple of times. It's not helpful and doesn't seem to happen with credit cards, debit cards or cash.
If I can't activate then I can chase. 2m CW (niche) and an international vhf contact (Cumbria > IoM) before reverting to 300 baud packet
Now it's Italy v Ireland rugby (guess who won the all important anthem battle - yep, Italy again. No contest)
I struggle to work out what the hell is going on during the half pipe.
But what I did work out, is that 5.5m above the top lip of a half pipe is stratospheric. I shit myself the one time I went down one (ironically in Livingo)
These lympicks people are amazing
Good news Maggie didn't snatch the PK-88. Postie been and also gave Sally dog a biscuit. Double win.
Thanks @dtl
@dtl transferable to all pantomime villains. There are plenty of them nowadays.
If she's pinched that PK88, I'm going to get reet vexed and send one of those sheep assassins, a Texel.
@dtl she's not a fan, is she?
@dtl Maggie Thatcher, tarmac snatcher.
Our roads look like a clowns waistcoat. Patches and bits missing all over the place. I'm convinced bits are being pinched by big Tarmac
@dtl I blame Thatcher
@dtl someone stole the road at the top of the village. They just left a hole with some kind of yellow hissing snake in it. Then the leccy bods decided to seal off the other end. Next the council will be shutting it down for 6 weeks.
Please send tarmac
@dtl not yet. But we've only just got roads back. So no mail all week
Biathletes, all of them, look the most knackered at the end of their thing.
It's exhausting watching them with tea and biccies.
