This is one of the massive spinning machines whose name I don't know. Maybe this can be called a carousel? Not sure. Long exposure was needed because the film was expired, but this machine moved too much, so it has lost its original shape.

I saw someone posting an image under #ThrowbackThursday, and I decided to travel back in time to the Easter of 2016 when I visited the Faroe Islands, as you can see in this picture from the Múlafossur Waterfall in Gásadalur.

It was a magical trip overall, even though the weather wasn't great. But I think this was my first stop during the trip. At least, during this moment, the light was in the right place.

The day of the crematorium in Berlin is every year on Totensonntag, November 22, 2025. On this day, the Berlin crematoria show visitors how cremation works, and you can go to some of these places around town.

On that cold Sunday, I took my camera to the Baumschulenweg Crematorium.

When you visit Panorama Mesdag in The Hague, you travel back in time. The 360-degree view of the dunes, the sea, and the fishing village of Scheveningen allows you to step back in time and experience what it looked like in 1881.

Panorama Mesdag is the oldest 19th-century panorama painting in the world and is still on its original site. The art is cylindrical, more than 14 meters high and 120 meters in circumference.

i want the sourcecode to "gif brewery 3". it's only available for macs, and seems to have changed hands multiple times. its new 'owners' are unresponsive to email.

i want to reboot it into a cross-platform gif making tool, because nothing like it exists for either windows or linux

This picture is from that night when we were trying to find an interesting angle to take shots of the Ferris wheel in front of the TV Tower. We decided to go inside a parking lot and look for a different angle.
