I want to move my email/cloud storage away from big tech (google, microsoft), and the best option I could find at this point that combines both is Proton... For people that have used it, how is it? would you recommend something like Mail Plus? (can't get unlimited yet, sadly)

if you can't recommend or don't like it, do you know of any alternatives that combine both email and cloud storage? or at least a combo that gets you around the same price as Mail Plus? thank you :blob_sign_thx:

@gme ive been using draw.io mostly. its close enough, but if you want the same icon packs no idea if thats possible.

@gme 100% for my own purposes markdown is where its at. I just use obsidian. But I write a lot for work. Lot of technical papers. So you know how it is, I have to be in the microsoft ecosystem :( (for now at least hahah)

@mnl I think I can agree to that. First I should say that I use LLMs a lot for a lot of things. I dev with them as in I create LLM solutions not just use LLMs to code.

I think mocking up a proof of concept real quick is pretty awesome.

I hate the term vibe coding. I hate that there is a large body of ppl who think they can suddenly create a complete product by telling chatgpt "make website good".

I hate the snakeoil bs that companys are selling.

But I dont hate the technology.

@gme The upside is that Denmark has declared they are getting rid of Office, so if thats the case we should see a bigger focus on opensource or at least alternative office compatible software... i hope. lol. OpenOffice exists, and I dont mind using it, but collaborating with an office of ppl using ms products makes that cumbersome.
