@kerberos yep. I couldn't tell you what it looks like, and what I should do to keep me alive lol
I pretend to gamedev, but in the end, I just like the discussion and learning around it

@kerberos man... never played it
Have a nice 2026, everyone
@kerberos 🎯🎯🎯
Strangely enough, I asked a manager what he understood were the advantages of adopting scrum/agile.
Waiting for an answer. 3 days and counting.
@kerberos mind if I ask u what you already did and how many interactions you needed?
@kerberos great, gonna check it.
@kerberos how r u doing it?
The useless topic of today: "hard skills" & "soft skills".
God, what a nightmare.
Been practicing some Rust, and I am getting good results for some batch routines.
Then, we want to make them go production. And what do we hear?
Oh, we can't make it. There's no knowledge about how it works.
WTF? It's an app. An x64 one. That connects to DB and writes a CSV.
It seems a big company fired 11k people and is threatening more if they don't "learn AI".
I wonder how the people in charge get there, for real. They don't even understand this bullshit, but live for the promise of "doing more with less".
@Sonikku exactly. Maybe the studio structure changes made it the last to the party.
I think I may have cracked the json generation for my needs - and found a bug on the specs.
I mean... so much garbage
I'm impressed with how hard some people make a data exchange system be.
We have never been more spoiled in the world of #gamedev as we are right now.
Today we look at 16 of the most exciting game development tools, engines and applications (IMHO).

After playing the #SonicRacingCrossWorlds demo on #Xbox , I can honestly say:
- The game is really fun
- I have no idea how much money Nintendo would do by making Mario Kart World multiplatform, but it would be A LOT
One more gym day done.
Now, I have a boring 85-page document to read about making a ridiculously complex json to send data to a government agency.
@kerberos it's getting on my nerves, together with agile, scrum, kanban...
I'm starting to get disgusted for the "clean code" words.
