After I upgraded a @debian machine from bookworm to #trixie, I first thought everything went smoothly.
But my #monitoring caught up with me (and reality). To my big surprise, Shell scripts using the #mysql command, stopped working.
As it turns out, the upgraded mariadb-client package in #Debian 13 now enforces "--ssl" on the CLI by default.

If you all of a suden get a "NO PUBKEY" error from your APT package manager on your @debian or @ubuntu machine, this most likely means there have been some changes on the repository (server) side.
Most likely the key to sign the packages was replaced by a newer key - which you need to install on your #debian machine.

Thanks for the hint. Yes, I saw similar notes with the "connection data" in /var/lib/nfs. No this was not synced. Will give it a try. Thanks!
@Lioh Additional info: My best guess is that it has something to do with the open file handles. But I doubt I can "replicate" this properly to a standby NFS server using rsync.
@Lioh Nope, just plain simple NFS server, sharing from local file system.
IP Failover worked like a charm. New NFS mounts work. But existing NFS clients run into stale file error.
Open for suggestions, ideas. π
(and yes, I already have plans to replace this SPOF by a clustered FS, e.g. GlusterFS - but not overnight).
Failovering NFS servers isn't as easy as I hoped it would be ... π€
