@memerman looks great! What hike is this?

@memerman looks great! What hike is this?
@pamelafox Thanks for the tip!
It continues to be ridiculous when a single-nation sport league declares a "world champion."
Seems especially silly when there are actual sporting world championships happening at the same time.
@xenotrope To you! They assume you don't know how to eat a burrito...
@xenotrope That is offensive.
@futurebird If only I had a dollar for every time I asked myself this...
Jokes aside, I love learning the ant facts!
@alberniweather A+ lake name
@mappingsupport It has been great for my mood, but probably not great for the fire season. 😟
@ehashman Sorry to hear your thumbs are in an unconventional setup. 😟
@ajh I did this on the Mukilteo ferry here in Washington a few weeks ago. I was waiting for the achievement sound to play.
@mikej Ah, okay. Glad yall got enough to have a good time!
@elizayer Wow. TIL. Thanks for sharing!
@mikej Was the wind alright? It was so still up here in Edmonds...
@tracketpacer Ugh. Same.
@mlanger It is! Small enough to feel exciting, stable and dry enough that my wife will join me for a day sail!
@tchaddad Ah, great! I love a story of a restoration. When you get it back out, I'd love to see photos of it coming along!
@alexmdunne I haven't had as much time to get out there lately and I haven't been on the Capris yet. I've heard they're fun!
Ha! Maybe I can give you a run for your money in DNFs. I'm putting the Spring Fling on my calendar and will see if I can get down there and bring my boat that weekend!
@tchaddad There's a pretty good population of them up here in the Seattle area. I wonder how many are down your way... Anyway, I can't take much credit for the work here. I purchased it in great shape last year from some folks who had lovingly restored it. I'm mostly just replacing lines and installing reefing at this point.
Thistles look like fun! I can imagine a Thistle would absolutely smoke a Pelican. Pram bow + flat bottom is no recipe for speed. 😅 Are you building yours, then?
@alexmdunne Nice! What type of boat(s) do you enjoy sailing there the most?
I was just looking at the announcement for the Spring Fling Regatta in March and it looks fun! Have you ever done any of the regattas with CWB? I actually haven't over all these years...
@alexmdunne I'm a member there! I'm guessing you are as well?
I first learned to sail several years ago at CWB and learned to enjoy their Pelicans over the last few years. That ultimately lead to buying this one from a member of the local Pelican fleet to explore more waters.
