@Sh41 I knew someone would say that! π
Unity by day, #MSX assembly by night.
@Sh41 I knew someone would say that! π
Big fat labels so that I won't take the wrong tapes box again!
@Sh41 nope! Crazy isn't it?
New #MSX game in the collection! And what a game; ALESTE! Let's see if I still have what it takes to beat it! π
Special treat from nature this morning, showing off a massive particle system in front of my window. Life has a pretty good GPU! π
Any estimates on how many bird particles? 10.000? More?
Neat! @brewotaku magazine #008 did a review of #MSX Matchy Matchy β€οΈ

Looking through my games, I decided I like these games very much, even though the chance of me ever playing them is extremely low. I just enjoy the cheerful boxes! π #MSX
Oh, I give up! Itβs impossible to take a cozy, wintry shot in the south of Spain with the sun blasting through the window. π
Merry Christmas, everyone! And remember, thereβs a free Christmas game for the #MSX2. Have fun!
Found a pretty unique (at least for me!) troops cheat sheet for Super Daisenryaku.
It came with a magazine, afaik, but it looks so good, it should've been in the game box!
All items photographed from screen, must've been a lot of work too! #MSX
@morgaelyn π
@morgaelyn haha, now switch to Magical Tree!
It's really no match between the European and the Japanese versions of Magical Kid Wiz.
Glad I could pick up that shiny Japanese version for cheap, even though it was an empty box (since then, I found a loose cartridge too π ) #MSX
I was lucky enough to find a loose "5th Anniversary" tape to complete my Hydlide 3 box! #MSX
And that's probably more #MSX Hydlide versions than I will ever need. Or is there a secret Bee Card version? π
@nGFX Neat!! I should be getting the Space Christmas Lego out too!
Yours is really nice though... mmm. tempted to get one!
And I'm actually going to use it! That's why I started this project in the first place.
Let's play some emulated games with my The Arcade Pro joystick. As they were meant to be played π

I'm not planning to start a business or anything, but it's a really cool experience. And amazing how much is possible for really very little money. Hats of to people who make complex devices though, this was very small, very simple and even so, it took quite some planning.

Yes, these are ready-made available. But I wanted to make one myself, just to see if I could. First a quick protype and when I got it to work, I designed and ordered some PCBs and got a bunch of connectors and RP2040s.

I've made a little device that takes a 2 button #MSX joystick on one end and poops out a USB gamepad on the other side. There's an auto-fire option that can be (de)activated by holding down one of the fire buttons and rotating the stick a couple of times.

@nGFX It's a spare for a spare for a spare for my keyboard.
