@MonniauxD l'article de bon pote cite le papier d'Ana Valdivia "The Supply Chain of Capitalist AI" qui lui même cite un rapport d'Euromines et un autre de Borra et al. sur les métaux critiques :

Ils ne parlent pas de terres rares mais de certains métaux critiques.

2) The positive effects of Interoperability are, unfortunately, overstated. It also fosters competition and convergence towards a dominant business/governance model, forget about real plurality (here detailed by @sveawindwehr and myself for Meta's Threads and Mastodon: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=5238447).
I also have strong reservations re alliances with natsec hawks and with "competition to be the dis-enshittification nation" (what happened to internationalism and solidarity?), but for another day.

Le Monde essaie de rendre des infos accessibles qui le sont pas particulièrement à l'heure actuelle. Il y a notamment une controverse sur les enjeux miniers du le numérique. Le secteur et les chaines de production étant opaques. Par ailleurs à cause de la "twin transition" on mélange souvent extraction liée à l'électrification et à la production de composants liés au numérique.

I became a software engineer because writing code is fun. Thinking through hard problems, designing elegant solutions, seeing the things you’ve built working for the first time… these moments are all deeply satisfying, so why in the world would I ever surrender them to AI?
incidentally in light of previous toots, plateau is a workshop that used to colocate with ACM conferences and then as of 2021 has been running them standalone at one of the organizers’ home institutions. attendance is free, which is definitely not a thing you’d have the license to do as an ACM workshop. papers get DOIs through a cmu library service

pour mémoire, le message de hackers, jugé pas très crédible à l'origine, parle des fichiers TAJ (antécédants judiciares), FPR (personnes recherchées), mentionne les impots et la CNAV.
l'intérieur confirme pour le TAJ (plusieurs 10aines de millions de personnes sont dans ce fichier, + du tiers de la population)
