You are totally right, I haven't to. But I want to restart back and this were my first thoughts after that long period.

My good deed of the day was this #NES from 1985. After many Q-tips and drops of chrome polish, all six games, including Mario Brothers, are working again. A friend donated them after he couldn't get them to work. The problem wasn't so much the internal connector, but rather the contact surfaces of the games. #RetroConsole #Nintendo #ComputerMuseum

The #Goldwing #SC22 is back on track. After changing the whole fuel pump part inside the tank container it starts again. I'm planning the vehicle inspection for next week, so for Christmas ;)

Bei meiner Goldwing #SC22 haperte es an Punkt 2, die Kraftstoffpumpe ist kaputt. Und übrigens: Ansaugen um den Tank leer zu bekommen ist ekelig im Mund. Und alles weil #TÜVruft.

Ah, thanks for the additional infos. We didn't have a VIC-20 yet, (C) sold them as VC-20 in Germany. No one wants to buy something which means f*ck in German 😀

What a cute little printer! A visitor recently noticed we didn't have one yet and promptly brought it by as a donation. I put a tank mouse on top to see the size relations.

#Jamicon #Spacestation, a stylish first-generation all-in-one 486slc computer. It has a floppy drive and a hard drive, from which it also boots. Only the BIOS battery needs to be replaced.

It does not work. The floppy displays its error 'beep' codes, which are telling about timing problems with Audio and VIDC video. Next step will be checking the whole board for cuts with a microscope.... to be continued.

Today afternoon we'll try to repair an #Archimedes #PC600, which was donated to the museum a few weeks ago. Maybe it is something easy like resetting video mode, maybe something more complicated like defective parts. Fingers crossed for the first alternative.

If the sources are correct, it has the rare 80186 as its processor.
