I'm not crying at that, oh no, no way, nope
I used to love watching it, but nowadays I can't as I am far too tense worrying that they won't make it.
It seems utter madness to me, but fair play to them, they seem to enjoy it.
How lovely!
I've complained about this before, but I like to complain, so...
One of the things I hate most about Amazon, is how effectively they've snuffed out high streets. All those little bits you need that before would have been a quick trip to a shop nearby are now something you have to buy online and wait a couple of days to have delivered. That's significantly less convenient, and significantly worse for the environment.
What before was a walk or a bike ride to a shop is now someone in a warehouse shipping a thing to a local delivery centre, then having someone bring it to your house.
That odd cable or adapter that you used to be able to pick up in Maplin or Tandy; only available online now. I remember talking about bootlaces on here before. There used to be places you could go to buy reasonable quality bootlaces. Not any more.
Hell, even shops that *should* stock things like that, don't. Currys should have a range of odd cables in stock, but it's more cost effective for them to hold them in a warehouse to post to you when you order it online.
At the risk of sounding over dramatic, it's all part of chipping away at our shared humanity. That experience of popping in to town to get a bit you need, and seeing other people, feeling like part of a community. All gone, because it wasn't cost-effective enough.
But he seems like such a distinguished gentleman, he clearly could not go out without his top hat

I have enjoyed seeing how the Tunisian Knit Stitch looks so like knitting but produces such a thick fabric in comparison to a knit fabric
I hope to play with it more
Wonderful! I'm fairly new to the technique but find it fascinating.
I also have a Bella who, despite being merely 3 kg somehow manages to claim a whole King Size bed leaving me struggling for quilt and mattress. It is a remarkable skill!
Another thing I say is that "the air is often surprisingly solid at ground level", as I trip over nothing at all, again
Earlier on I was reminded of the Toy Dolls version of Nellie the Elephant and now my brain is just going
ooooooooooooooooooooooooh
like they do just before the chorus. I have to say, everything is slightly more exciting with the anticipation of a chorus aboit an Elephant approaching
