The route towards this freedom was at the heart of the ERA Symposium 2025, which featured a keynote from European Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva and speeches from Austrian Ministers Eva-Maria Holzleitner and Peter Hanke.

We were honoured to present Open Knowledge Maps at this high-level event, and we're excited to help advance a more open and connected European Research Area.

We presented the scale and impact of our service, our integration with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), and how we can contribute to the service layer of federated open research data infrastructures as a non-profit.
