First shading pass on the Minty Marine and I am certain that this base colour for the armour is not what I want. I kind of knew when I first applied it, but that's why it is a test model. Still plenty of stuff left to test on it though.

After quite a bit of consideration, I am going to announce my return to Warhammer 40k. Some of you will be happy and some will think the real me is abducted by the Ordo Hereticus. I will be updating and expanding my Dark Angels army for 7th edition, although 90% of what is planned is compatible with 10th as well.
