Test toot.
Middle aged, menopausal wreckage (who isn't a public servant), living behind a computer in Canberra.
Test toot.
I've seen the fox in my back yard on three separate occasions this morning. Each time, it caught sight of me and vanished.
For the record, I do not have a problem with its presence there. The decision for the fox to run away is the fox's decision alone.
@MyView Yeah, ultimately, the number that counts is the one you get on the day. And regardless of how much we finish today with, I am very glad to get it.
I hope you get what you need - watching the landscape dehydrate is not nice.
@treleanor @jonlawrence @MostlyTato That's what I have here, too, in West Belco.
@jonlawrence Huh. Maybe last night's storm cell was more contained than I thought.
A cover of the AC/DC track ‘Thunderstruck’ by artist 2CELLOS.
This is a very well done video clip IMO.
@jonlawrence @juliew2010 I suspect that quite a few of them are dodging the heat and will go to the Multicultural festival tomorrow. But it's as well organised and polite as ever.
I have never seen that many people at the book fair.
@mativity I got the same email today, and I feel exactly the same.
@treleanor Okay, so they've managed to get the correct data in. But they've left the wrong data in there as well. Sigh.
The message from the stars was very long and complex, but contained instructions how to decode and parse it incrementally.
There was an image, of a very cute furry creature. And a text, which loosely translated said:
"Send cat pics please!'
@cheryanne @treleanor or the cold.
This week I learned, from a blind acquaintance here, that when we write in ALL CAPS in alt text, their screenreader* reads it all out, *one letter at a time*.
Totally defeating the point of alt text making things accessible, right?
Needless to say, I've stopped.
Well, LOL remains LOL, of course!
#TIL #accessibility #blind #deafblind
* apparently, not all screenreaders.
