AI agents can now read every tool page on https://EveryDev.ai
We added llms.txt to 2,000+ tools so when you ask Claude or ChatGPT about a dev tool, it can check real reviews, pricing, and features.
Apple just rolled out XCode 26 with a hugest set of AI features, Claude Code and GPT integrated fully for building out features in native iOS or Mac apps.

I wrote up the full story plus a how migration playbook and security checklist for anyone running self-hosted AI agents.
Read it here: https://everydev.ai/p/the-rise-fall-and-rebirth-of-clawdbot-in-72-hours
The project survived. @Moltbot now has 75K+ stars. The community rallied instead of fled.
But the lessons are real:
β Secure new handles BEFORE releasing old ones
β Crypto scammers monitor viral projects
β Users will misconfigure your software
β Agentic AI needs better security defaults
Meanwhile, security researchers found hundreds of Clawdbot instances exposed on the public internet.
API keys. OAuth tokens. Conversation histories. Shell access.
One researcher demoed a 5-minute prompt injection attack that exfiltrated a user's emails.
During the account migration, there was a ~10-second gap between releasing the old handles and claiming new ones.
Crypto scammers were watching. They snatched both @clawdbot accounts instantly.
Within hours: fake $CLAWD tokens hit a $16M market cap. Then crashed when @steipete confirmed the scam.
Creator @steipete handled it gracefully:
"Anthropic asked us to change our name. Honestly? 'Molt' fits perfectlyβit's what lobsters do to grow."
Same lobster soul. New shell.
But the rename went catastrophically wrong.
Clawdbot was an AI assistant that actually did thingsβmanaged email, automated tasks, controlled your browser. All running locally.
It hit 75K+ GitHub stars. Mac Minis reportedly sold out. Andrej Karpathy praised it.
Then Anthropic's lawyers called. "Clawd" was too close to "Claude."
In 72 hours, Clawdbot the hottest open-source AI project on GitHub:
Got hit with a trademark dispute
Had its accounts hijacked in 10 seconds
Became the center of a $16M crypto scam
Had hundreds of instances exposed by security researchers
And somehow survived. Here's what happened π§΅
The new Clawdbot onboard:web gives you a browser UI that walks through the same 8 steps with actual form fields and visual feedback.
Still runs locally so you keep the privacy benefits, just without needing to be fluent in CLI. See whats involved in the current install and why this matters for broader adoption

So... Clawdbot is getting a web based onboarding wizard and its going to make setup so much easier for non devs.
No more npm / WSL2 / terminal commands.
The setup is pretty dev heavy though. Node 22, npm, terminal (TUI) commands, daemon configs. Now theres a web based onboarding wizard coming that makes the whole thing way more accessible.
