Graffiti on a wall in San Francisco. It shows a drawing a woman's head, drawn in a Chicano cartoon style in red paint on a grey wall.Graffiti showing a woman's face drawn in a Chicano illustration style. It is painted using pink spray paint on a wooden wall.Red spray paint on a wall in a parking lot. This graffiti depicts a woman's head, with long hair and the artist's signature at the bottom. I can't read the signature though. The art is drawn in an illustrative Chican style, evoking Cholo art and characters.

Spotted in a garage on 18th and Mission. One of the pieces is by #Guez, the other is by an LA artist whose name I can't make it. #SFGraffiti #Graffiti
Black graffiti on a white wall. The art is drawn in one-single line and depicts a large head of a mean pitbull, with a spiked collar. It is drawn by an artist named Guez. There are a few busflow style tags in the photo too, but I can't read the names.A large graffiti piece in black spraypaint on a white wall in a car garage. It shows bubble text letters merging with a skull character. I can't read the text, but the skull is very cool and very stylish.

Guez tag on 18th Street. #Guez is known for large one-liner pieces featuring their pitbull character. #SFGraffiti #Graffiti
Graffiti on a door in an urban setting. The art shows half of the face of a pitbull, drawn in spraypaint and in Guez's signature style. The dog looks tough and mean. Due to the placement of the graffiti, I think it may have been painted on a piece of wood somewhere else, and then repurposed into a door.

These appear to be marketing related for Bad Bunny's new album, "DtMF". The frog character is named Concho and BB uses this character in his marketing.
I will also say the art on these particular posters appears to be made with genAI.

A few one-line tags by Walkie Talkie, one of my favorite local taggers. #SFGraffiti #Graffiti #WalkieTalkie
A drawing of a handheld radio unit (aka a walkie talkie). It is drawn using a silver paint pen in one continuous line. It's the icon of a local graffiti writer who goes by "Walkie Talkie" or sometimes "Walker".Another drawing of a handheld walkie talkie, drawn in one continuous line in black ink. There's also a signature that says "Walker".A drawing of a walkie talkie on a wall in a one-liner graffiti style.

I've been spotting these weird little butterfly creatures around the neighborhood. Stencils, wheat paste, squeeze bottle paint, etc. No idea who the artist is, but I love them. What do you think the creature is? #SFGraffiti #Graffiti #Stencil
Graffiti on the sidewalk that represents a winged creature looking at the viewer. Sort of like a butterfly, or maybe a dragon. It is painted on the ground using a glue that was squeezed out of a tube. So it dried shiney and puffs off the surface.A sticker showing the same butterfly creature. The art is painted directly onto the sticker using red paint.A stencil on the sidewalk of a butterfly shaped creature. It is sprayed in red spray paint.Another sticker with the butterfly painted onto it in red paint.

I spotted these weird little cards around the neighborhood. Some sort of art project. Really cool painted lines on old photos, with stamped info on the back. Could be an art project, could be a marketing stunt. I'm never gonna call the number on the back, but I have to give the artist props for their brush and calligraphy skills. #SFGraffiti #Graffiti
Another black and white photo with red paint on it. The paint is abstract lines that cover the photo. This is taped to a post on a sidewalk.A black and white photo of a man. The photo looks old, like a yearbook photo from the 50s. There is yellow paint covering the photo and making a series of abstract lines.Three of these cards on the floor. Two are flipped, so you can see the text on the back. The art on the back is slightly different for each card, but they both have a calligraphic "B" drawn on them and text that says "Please. No matter what you do. No matter who tries to convince you. Please. We beg you. For all that is sacred. Do not even consider for a second to call this number you see in front of you. 3474701449". The text appears to be stamped on by hand.

Matsu’s favorite spot, the corner of Valencia and Mission. #SFGraffiti #Graffiti #Matsu
A black wall outdoors with graffiti on it. The graffiti is a bubble font that says Matsu in pink spraypaint. The "A" in Matsu is in the shape of a cartoony mushroom character.Graffiti of a mushroom with a face. It is done in pink and white spraypaint in Matsu's cartoonish graffiti style.

"Humanity prevails"
Another modified advertisement at a MUNI bus stop in #SanFrancisco. In the third photo you can see the original design before it was modified. #SFGraffiti #Graffiti
A modified poster on the side of a MUNI bus stop. The poster is black background with white letters and art on top. There's a drawing of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. It is smiling at the viewer. Text beneath it says "Humanity prevails time and time again. Dear World, I wuv you. Yours, Monsieur Salopette." Parts of the sign are the original printed text (ie "Humaninty" and "DearWorld") the drawing and added text were all added in white paint.A closeup of part of the sign, so you can see the printed parts next to the parts that were painted in white paint.A photo of the original sign without any of the changes in the previous photos. It is an ad for an AI company named Dear World (I think).

“Free Muni”.
A modified bus-stop sign at Mission and 24th. Hand lettered by guerrilla artists on top of an ad for Delve AI. #SFGraffiti #graffiti #SanFrancisco
A bus stop advertisement that has been altered to say “Free Muni” in yellow letters. The lettering is expertly painted and very stylish. Like something you’d see painted in a storefront window. The advertisement is on the side of a Muni stop at 24th and Mission. The same modified advertisement on a Muni stop, but this photo is taken at night and there is a light behind the poster. Because of this lighting, you can see some remnants of the old Delve AI sign.

Mural on the side of Clooney's Bar in #SanFrancisco's #MissionDistrict. Artist unknown.

Tags by Matsu, seen on Mission Street. #SFGraffiti #Graffiti #Matsu
Two graffiti tags on a wall. One is a two color throw up of Matsu's mushroom character in purple and silver spray paint. The mushroom is cute and has two heads, each with a face on it. The second tag is a one color piece that says "Matsu" in big letters. The A in Matsu is represented in a way that also looks like a mushroom character. The art is cute and original, but also represented in a way that shos skill and respect in the graffiti culture.

Unknown graffiti tag on a metal sign. What really sticks out to me is how the paint pooled up on certain parts of the sign, but is extra dark and even in other parts. It almost looks glitchy or digital. #SFGraffiti #Graffiti
A sign that says "private property" in red and white. A graffiti artist has tagged their name on the sign, but I can't read what the name says. The interesting part of this tag is how parts of the paint look splotchy, and other parts look real thick and even.A close look at some of the black graffiti paint on the white parts of the sign, compared to red parts. The black paint looks really consistent on the white parts, but really splotchy on the red parts.Another close look at the sign. It's really interesting how the paint pooled up on certain parts, but not others. From my perspective, it almost looks like when you add a layer in photoshop and set it to invert, so it reacts differently based on the layer beneath it.

3D printed graffiti tag spotted in Oakland. #Graffiti #SFGraffiti #OaklandGraffiti
Update, the artist behind this appears to be Michael Walsh, who has shared similar art in the Bay Area before. Here's his profile on IG https://www.instagram.com/michaelwalshsculptor
Green plastic attached to a wall with spray paint behind it. The plastic appears to be a graffiti artist's name that was 3D printed. I can't read the name, but it's in a tech influenced version of wild style graffiti.
