Love me some code
Review of "React Projects - Second Edition" (4 stars): Review of React Projects - Second Edition
Finished the chapter on using a basic test framework. Surprisingly complete, looks like a good portion of the computational and visual elements can be tested.
There was a section on using Cypress for end-to-end testing but I glossed over that, will return to it when needed.
All in all a good read.

Everything was going well up to this point "Chapter 5". Got a little more complicated with callbacks and reducers and there's a definite bug with the original code.
Could be due to my version of react/node.js so I'll give it a pass

When I was a kid, thousands of years ago, I remembered the art of Halo Jones but don't think the story was my cup of tea back then. Things have changed but remain the same, the art is still stunning, Ian Gibson knew how to draw women but the story and the atmosphere is astounding, I love it now. Highly recommend.

The main story is great, the Pro make an amazingly uncouth heroine. The joust with the wannabe Supaman is really funny. A good quick read, great art, worth your time.

Finished reading the whilst sitting outside with a setting sun and a small glass of perfectly chilled beer. It was a magical start of an adventure, the artwork is without doubt, astounding and worth it for that alone however, the story too is gripping and will make you come back for more.
