Because I don't know about you, but when I get to a new cityfirst I only want to know if I can tap and go.
If I have time I might look up fare zones. I might have looked up general directions. But Contactless or Not is my #1 question ( https://contactlessornot.com )
and then Express Mode / Transit Mode because I don't wanna look like a dummy if it's not supported.

@MuseumShuffle Ditto. As you’ll hear me mention, I have it a shot because there was a couple of months where my partner Sara was in London and I was still in Dublin, and thought some more social gaming might be a good idea
I got to try out the beta of @kayleemasto’s new game Tatami. It’s one of those perfect little puzzles that starts simple, lulling you into a false sense of security and then really challenges you as the difficulty creeps up.
And it feels great to play too
It was a real honour to be invited onto The Incomparable Mothership to chat about Arc Raiders, a game I never expected to love
It may be six months later but I was on a Mastodon sabbatical at the time and it was quite the surprise to shuffle over a seat on the Dublin bus to let a person sit down, only to realise it was Ben 😆 https://mastodon.social/@BenRiceM/115185777607898557
How Apple could keep the bottom search bar in iOS 26.4 without disturbing the flat navigation hierarchy.

Today it's live on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. I wrote about everything that went into it.

@samhenrigold can’t he breath underwater though or does he just hold his breath for a really long time
I found a cursed thing!
My backpack has a USB cable for charging devices. But I noticed what looked like a USB-C port? I plugged in a cable, and a Lightning adapter came out. Neat!
But it had a hole in the end? 🤔 And it's labeled "Lightning/Micro"?
And... oh god. It's a combination Lightning and Micro-USB adapter.

@stroughtonsmith predictable, yes. Preventable, no.
Over the past year, @Aaronvegh and I have been working on something very exciting!
We thought we’d give you a little teaser now and you can sign up to hear more very soon.
